Berwin Leighton Paisner

Berwin Leighton Paisner, or BLP, is an international law firm, focusing mainly on the areas of real estate, corporate and finance law. It was established in 2001 with a merger between real estate law firm Berwin Leighton and corporate law firm Paisner & Co. BLP is known as one of London's "silver circle" firms.

BLP has offices in Brussels and Singapore, and alliance offices in New York and Paris. It also has an international alliance via a worldwide network of firms across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Africa—a similar strategy used by Slaughter and May. Fact|date=August 2007

The firm's specialist construction group grew up around the firm's pre-eminent commercial property practice, and the firm has many years' experience in advising on front-end development-related construction. These days, many consider it to be equally strong in contentious work, and the team is certainly well balanced. On the non-contentious side, it has an impressive range of mandates included advising Exemplar Developments/Morgan Stanley Real Estate Ventures on the Drapers Gardens, Lombard Street and Aldgate redevelopments, and Great Portland Estates on the Tooley Street and Titchmore projects. On the contentious side, it advised firm-wide client Tesco on the Gerrards Cross tunnel collapse. It represents LUL on disputes relating to complex infrastructure projects, and its contractor client base is also growing. true.
