Knowing this, the duo decided to work on a few songs together and eventually got back together. Hazard, who is the great-granddaughter of American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald [Carraway, Kate. "Declare a New State ", The Submarines' first album, is what came out of these recording sessions. The album was mastered by a friend as a wedding present, and released in2006 on theNettwerk label.
