The EPRA index, derived from European Public Real estate Association, is a
stock market index composed ofproperty companies that trade on several global exchanges.EPRA represents the publicly traded real estate sector in Europe.
It is a non-profit making organisation which aims to provide European public real estate companies with effective and continuous leadership in matters of common interest. EPRA encourages discussion of issues impacting the industry both within the membership and with appropriate Governmental and regulatory bodies.
The association endeavours to develop policies concerning standards of reporting disclosure, ethics and industry practices. Although not a disciplinary body, EPRA will actively encourage adherence to these policies.
Supporting best practise and transparency, it also sponsors and publishes research and analysis for the benefit of members.
