SM UB-5

SM "UB-5" was a German Type UB I U-boat built for the Kaiserliche Marine. She was commissioned November 22, 1915. She served in World War I under the command of Wilhelm Smiths. "UB-5" recorded 5 ships sunk for a total of 996 tons on 24 patrols in 1915 and 1916. She was transferred to a training flotilla on September 21, 1916, and stricken February 19, 1919 at Dräger, Lübeck.
