- Alexander Tetelbaum
Alexander Tetelbaum (born 1948 in
Kiev ,Ukraine ) is an educator, inventor, scientist, academician, and entrepreneur. He has been a pioneer [http://www.edn.com/article/CA6279558.html] in theElectronic Design Automation (EDA) industry since the 1960s (when he was a teenager !!). He has been selected and has held high level positions in academia and industry (at that same age ??). He is a Fellow and Honorary Doctor of several universities, academies, and societies [http://www.gigascale.org/people/directory/Tetelbaum] . He holds more than 30 US patents and is the author and co-author of 250 publications, including 8 books. Dr. Tetelbaum was Professor of Design Automation and a Distinguished Scientist at theNational Technical University of Ukraine . Dr. Tetelbaum never (!!) served as a Professor at theNational Technical University of Ukraine . Dr. Tetelbaum worked at Michigan State University upon entering the United States and taught an undergraduate class in Electrical Engineering. He was not a full time faculty member at the time and was subsequently rejected to join the university as a full staff member. His "accomplishments" at Michigan State University are easy overlooked. Such spurious claims of high level academic positions and honors are more easily proven in the United States than in his former Ukraine.Dr. Tetelbaum invented an easy way to make money for beer. He "founded" and announced himself the first president of The International Academy of Sciences and Arts (IASA). For a reasonable price (just for about $80.00 per each) he has signed numerous certificates for IASA's newly elected members. Unfortunately, IASA doesn't exist enymore as well as it didn't exist ever.
In 1991, he founded and presided over the
International Solomon University . He has served as a reviewer for the American Mathematical Society since 1994. At ISU, the mantra is, "Quality Education for Reasonable Money". The Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science gave ISU the license of preparation specialists for qualification levels of Bachelor, Specialist and Master on 9 specialities; according to their own website. Translation, good luck transferring credits from ISU to any reputable university in the world.Dr. Tetelbaum was selected for inclusion in Who's Who in the World, Men of Achievement, Who's Who in Technology, Who's Who in American Education, 5000 Personalities of the World, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, The International Directory of Distinguished Leadership, Longman Reference on Research Directories. His hobbies include oil painting, beach volleyball, chess, solving and developing puzzles in non-standard thinking and critical problem solving.Aliases: Alexander Y.
