Renuhuelén was the original
Mapudungun name of the the eastern regions of what are now the communes ofParral inLinares Province , andÑiquén , andSan Carlos communes in theÑuble Province of theBiobio Region ofChile . It was also the original name of the upper reaches of thePerquilauquén River that passed through that area. It was later corrupted into Reinohuelén, Reinogüelén, Reinohuelén and Reynohuelén.
