Lydbury North is a village and a geographically large parish in South
Shropshire ,England . It is locally called Lydbury and there is no settlement of "Lydbury South".It is situated in the south west corner of the county, near to the small towns of
Clun andBishop's Castle . The B4385 road runs through the village, as does theJack Mytton Way . To the west is the village and parish of Colebatch. There is apost office , school and church here. Also there is apublic house called the "Powis Arms".The village lies between 155 and 165
metre s abovesea level . It is located at gbmapping|SO352859.To the south is
Walcot Pool , a large body of water which is part of theWalcot Hall estate. Whilst the land to the south is flat, to the north the land rises steeply.External links
