Perumpilavu

Perumpilavu is a village is located in north of kunnamkulam in Thrissur district in the state of Kerala in India.

It is a trijunction of the towns of Kuttippuram in Malappuram district, Pattambi in Palakkad district and Kunnamkulam. In the 20th century, it used to be more known for its weekly cattle market.

Some of the major educational institutions are Ansar English Medium School, T M High School and L M U P School.

Perumpilavu has an Ayyappa temple that stages a rare traditional art called Ayyappan Thiyyattu.
