Andy Croft (b.1966 in
Lancashire UK) is a British actor.He was educated in the standard public school system, at Ashton High School in
Preston ,England . He began as an entertainer by way of a promotions and modelling agency in northern England. After schooling at Whitakers Drama school, he moved to London, where he was represented byCentral Casting . The first day of his association with that agency, he was cast in "A Very British Coup ".He was later cast in bit parts in movies such as "
Batman ", "Indiana Jones " and "Charlie ". In the north of England,Yorkshire TV cast him in "Till We Meet Again " and forGranada TV , he was cast in an unsuccessful soap opera called "Families".Later, he acted in "
Great Balls of Fire ", "The Krays " and "Dangerous Love ". He still worked on "Dealers ", "Three Musketeers ", and "Henry V".He played keyboards touring with British pop legend "Paul Weller".
He decided to quit and buy a nightclub and a wine bars in the North of England. Which he sold and moved on to Australia.
Keeping involved in the industry he signed with major Australian agents, Frog management in Perth Western Australia.
Training again at WAAPA {Western Austalian Acadamy of Performing Arts}. Hugh Jackmans former drama school.
Recently he has appeared as David in the forthcoming movie "
Lilith ", based on the book of the same name by Paul Kidd.September 2007 Andy played the role of " Walt " at Acorn theatre which is the smallest theatre in the world. The play is called " Stormed Tossed Tales "
Also in September 2007 he played the role of the husband in the English playwright A J Gurney's play" The Problem" Directed by WAAPA tutor Noel ONeil.This play was staged at KADS in Western Australia.
Continuing on stage he played William Tell at Kwinana Theatre in Western Australia.
2008 you see Andy on Australian TV on commercials for the food chain "Red Rooster".
