Hengli Town

Hengli Town is a small city located close to ChangPing in the county of Dongguan (provence of Guangdong). In recent years Hengli town has tried to spur development of its city center by creating a "SODO" district focusing on a row of small strip of stores with the intention of getting visitors from Hong Kong (who would be arriving via the direct train located at ChangPing) to come up for some weekend shopping. This caused some local controversy due to the fact it required the central street to be closed to vehicles.
