Aroanios (Greek: Αροάνιος) is a river in the western part of the Achaia prefecture. It empties into the Ladon river.

Geography

The river begins from Aroania and after 10 kilometres empties into the Ladon river. In the river features the streams named Lagkada (Λαγκάδα) and Chaliki (Χαλίκι). The springs of Aroanios near Planitero inside the maple forests. In the river's springs features restaurants and stores with touristic use. During the summer, the area features weekend visits for the residents even from Patras.
