In Light of the Word

In Light of the Word

In Light of The Word [http://www.video-sermon.org] is a Television Outreach Ministry of The New Iberia Church of Christ [http://www.newiberiacoc.com] . Currently, it is viewed throughout fourteen parrishes in Southern Louisiana on three broadcast channels and twelve cable stations.

The program is unique in that it never solicites any donations from its viewing audience. This evangelistic work is completely funded by the free-will donations of members and congregations [http://www.newiberiacoc.com/attention.htm] of the churches of Christ. Be that as it may, the work has shown to be very successful in reaching out to millions of people throughout the world via the internet. To date, there have been responses from over twenty six countries worldwide.

The church of Christ in New Iberia furnishes free audio CDs to anyone making a request, and DVDs of the broadcasts are made available to congregations too small to hire a full time preacher. There is never any cost to those requesting the material.
