Vermont Cynic

Vermont Cynic

The "Vermont Cynic" is the student newspaper of the University of Vermont. "The Cynic" has been published since 1883 (as The University Cynic). Up until 1985, "The Cynic" was published using movable type. The Cynic has also been published online since 2001. In 2006 circulation was 6,000.

The University of Vermont does not have a journalism program. Students wishing to receive course credit for their work on the paper can enroll in related courses offered through UVM.

The editor-in-chief is Dakota Cody Thomas Rubin.

The managing editor is Connor Fieldman Boals.
