José Higgins UFO incident

"José Higgins" was a Brazilian topographer who presumably saw a UFO with some laborers.

On July 23, 1947, he was working with his colleagues in Bauru, São Paulo. Suddenly, they heard an extremely sharp sound. Some moments later, a big object landed near them. Its diameter was about 45 meters, and it seemed made of metal, grey colored and landed on the ground with also metalized "feet". There was also a "ring" around it.

Higgins' colleagues quickly left the place, leaving him alone. Three 7 foot tall beings got off the object. They were wearing transparent clothes that covered all the body, and under these clothes, more clothes of intense colors. They carried a metallic box on their backs. Their bodies were thin, with disproportionate legs. There was neither hair nor eyebrow, and their heads were big, as well as their eyes.

The beings attempted unsuccessfully to take Higgins to the ship. After, they pointed a gun similar to a pipe. Higgins noticed the beings were somehow avoiding sunlight, and tried not to stay in the shadows. He threw small rocks and dodged them to make sure he would come to no harm.

The supposed aliens then seemed to have given up the kidnapping and drew eight circles on the ground. In a fast but clear language, they explained to Higgins that the central figure was "Alamo" and the seventh one, "Orque", the latter being the place where they came from (this has made most of the researchers who studied the case believe that the beings came from Uranus). Soon after, the beings got on the ship and went away.

Gordon Greighton, main researcher of the case, noticed the ship was similar to the one seen in Trindade Island, in 1958.
