Goodnight Family Sustainable Development Program
- Goodnight Family Sustainable Development Program
Goodnight Family Sustainable Development Program is based at Appalachian State University. The sustainable development program consists of an academic and outreach component. Students can earn a B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Sustainable Development, or can receive a sustainable development concentration through the Biology or Anthropology Departments. The University also offers a masters-level concentration in sustainable development through the Appalachian Studies department at Appalachian State. A stand-alone B.A./B.S. Sustainable Development degree is expected by the fall 2008 term.
The program also works with local and regional groups and resources in its outreach, and operates a teaching and research farm in Valle Crucis, North Carolina.
