Bato-Munko Vankeev but was beaten in the second round of the Flyweight (51 kg) division by France's eventual runner-upJérôme Thomas .2005 at the world championships he beat Yang Bo but lost to
Andry Laffita .2006 he defeated Laffita but lost to
Zou Shiming at a tournament.He won the Central America Games, he beatMcJoe Arroyo and won gold against CubanYoandri Salinas who had replaced Laffita.2007 at the PanAm Games he won silver again, this time he beat
Braulio Ávila but lost to McJoes brotherMcWilliams Arroyo He qualified for the Olympics by winning his qualifier among others against
