Moro-moro

The moro-moro was a "comedia" that became popular in the Philippines during the Spanish colonial period. It recounted battles between Christians and Moors in Spain leading up to the "Reconquista".

It is staged during fiestas. The show begins with a parade of stars in their colorful costumes. Chritians wear blue costumes while Muslims wear red costumes and fully ornamented.
