1988 Belgianhorror film directed by Emmanuel Kervyn and dubbed and distributed in America byTroma Entertainment The plot revolves around a large family who gather for their two grandmothers' birthday in the country side. Unfortunately, one of their gifts happens to be from their devil-worshipping nephew, and upon opening it, the two loveable grannies turn into vicious, flesh-eating monsters who won't stop until they've loved each and every one of their relatives to death.
Due to its unusual subject and title and its graphic scenes of gore, 'Rabid Grannies' is one of the most infamous titles in the Troma library.
