Little Motel is a song by the band Modest Mouse. It is the third single to be released from the album "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank".

The music video for "Little Motel" is in reverse, as in the video for Coldplay's "The Scientist." No members of the band are shown in it, just a mother with her son, who in the end of the video we find was dying, in the hospital. As his heart is shown to come to a stop, she removes the monitors from him and takes him, leaving the hospital, and eventually taking him to a motel, where she places him in the bed. This is where the video starts, going backwards, ending with where he was about to die.

The song refers to distance between two lovers, whereas the video covers the separation from a mother and son. The video was directed by Justin Francis, and filmed in Reno, Nevada at the Ho Hum Motel, the top floor of the Fizgerald's Casino Parking Garage, The Gold N' Silver diner, and various stretches of the downtown strip on Virginia Street.
