Titans of Steel

Titans of Steel is a freeware Battletech-style strategy game created by Vicious Byte. It was published in 1999.

The game is a tactical war game. It consists of three modules: the battle module and the machinery and character improvement modules, in which the player can improve the machinery and characters used in battles in the same way as in a RPG. The game is turn-based.

There is also a commercial and extended version of the game, called " [http://www.titansofsteel.com/main.asp Titans of Steel: Warring Suns] ". It was published in July 2003. This version was released as freeware too on February 14, 2008.
