The son of the sculptor
Christian Eriksson (1858-1935), Liss Eriksson grew up onMaria Prästgårdsgatan onSödermalm in southern-centralStockholm . Following his studies at the College of Fine Arts forNils Sjögren andEric Grate in 1939-1944, Liss participated in the pioneering exhibitionUng Konst in 1947, before spending five years in Paris together with his wife, the artistBritta Reich-Eriksson , to study forJean Osouf andHenri Laurens . He returned to Stockholm in 1951, in 1975 succeeding the studio of his father previously used by (1899-1970). During his last years, he was working on aretable for the churchKatarina kyrka , near his home.cite web
