9941 Iguanodon is an S-type main belt asteroid which orbits the Sun every 3.49 years. [cite web|url = http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?sstr=9941|title = 9941 Iguanodon (1989 CB3)|work = JPL Small-Body Database Browser]

It was discovered on February 4, 1989 by Eric Elst at the European Southern Observatory and given the provisional designation "mp|1989 CB|3". It was later renamed "Iguanodon" after the dinosaur genus "Iguanodon". [MPC 47166 "Minor Planet Center]
