Badger High School is a public
high school in Kinsman, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Joseph Badger Local School District. Their nickname is the Braves.The district was named after Rev. Joseph Badger, a circuit riding minister of the late 1700's.
Famous Alumni include NASCAR Driver Dave Blaney.
The original high school has been demolished, along with the middle school and all elementary schools. These schools are now combined in one, brand new building.
The district is made up of four townships, in the shape of an inverted L, in the northest corner of Trumbull County. They are, west to east, north to south, Gustavus, Kinsman, Vernon, and Hartford. This makes the Joseph Badger School District at 100 square miles, the largest geographically in the county. The high school is below average in the county in student population.
