Shona Urvashi

Shona Urvashi was born in 1977 in Canada. She graduated with a BA in Economics from Nowrosjee Wadia College Pune (Pune University).

She further went on to study film making at the Vancouver film school. Her student film "Maya's story" has won and been nominated for several awards. She is also the sister of Bollywood actor Masumeh.

TRIVIAShona Urvashi was to direct Jaane Tu for Tips. When it didn't happen due to her having her daughter, best friend Abbas Tyrewala took it back and decided to make it himself.

Due for release 12 th Sept 2008. It is Warner Bros. Pictures first film in India.
