Ron Greer is a
Seattle based photographer and painter, born inTacoma , Washington, USA in 1957, a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, California and The Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington.He is well known for his "in your face" black and white street photography, created with wide angle lenses at a very close distance, and his Vincent Van Gogh-inspired oil paintings. His work can be view at his web site, [www.rongreer.com] , and is available for sale from him studio/gallery, Studio Boina, in the Ballard district of Seattle. He also accepts commercial projects, including architectural and environmental portraits.
Most street photographers use 35mm cameras, such as the Leica M4/M6, Ron uses medium format cameras for his street photography projects.
