Stephen Stageberg

Stephen Stageberg is an American distance runner. He is also an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Mary Washington.

Education

* Graduated from South Eugene High School in Oregon.
* Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown University in 1969.
* Masters and Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University in 1984.

Athletics

* Member of the Georgetown University Athletics Hall of Fame.
* Winner of the Robert A. Duffey Scholar-Athlete Award at Georgetown in 1969.
* 1968 IC4A Cross Country Individual Champion for Georgetown, in a time of 24:32.4
