- Saint Louis Billikens men's soccer
Saint Louis University Billikens Soccer is one of the most honored men's soccer programs in NCAA Division I history. In fact, Saint Louis University has won more men's college soccer championships than any other school in Division I, although they have not won a title since 1973. Nonetheless, SLU has won nine outright titles, with the first coming in 1959, followed by titles in 1960, 1962, 1963, 1965, 1969, 1970, 1972 and 1973. They have also shared the title with Michigan State in 1967, to bring their total of NCAA Division I men's soccer titles to ten. SLU also played in three other championship games (losing to West Chester University in 1961, and to Howard University in 1971 and 1974). Howard, however, was forced to vacate their 1971 title.
Bob Guelker was the head coach for the Billikens' first five championships, whileHarry Keough coached the last five championship teams at SLU. Since February 2001,Dan Donigan has been the head coach.Championship Years
