Winlaton West Lane Community Primary School

Winlaton West Lane Community Primary School is an English Primary School situated in Winlaton, Gateshead. It was founded in the 19th century, and is often regarded as a "rival" of nearby school Blaydon West. There are around 300 pupils on roll, with ages ranging from 4 to 11.

The school is made up of two buildings. The Southern Block is the Infants School, containing three year groups, Reception (ages 4 - 5), Year One (ages 5 - 6) and Year Two (ages 6 - 7). The Northern Block is the Junior School, which contains four year groups. Year Three (ages 7 - 8) & Four (8 - 9, as well as Five (9 - 10) and Six (10 - 11).
