WAAV, Inc., formerly Omniwav Mobile, Inc., was founded by a group of Computer network, Telecom, and Radio frequency (RF) engineers. The company began product development and testing in San Diego, CA July 2004 - at the time one of only two U.S. cities with 3G cellular broadband EV-DO coverage. The company has been featured in Business 2.0, Entrepreneur Magazine, and many others. Their primary focus is manufacturing and selling mobile broadband cellular routers with customers in several countries. WAAV (Pronounced "Wave") is a privately held company with corporate offices in Cambridge, MA.
