- Blarney railway station
Blarney railway station is a proposed
railway station inBlarney on theCork Suburban Rail line inMetropolitan Cork , Ireland. The station does not yet exist. It will open in 2008 as part of the Glounthaune to Midleton Railway project inCounty Cork .The station will be built on a former goods yard that is currently being used by Dairygold as an agricultural goods depot. A disused station is situated adjacent to the proposed site, however, as there was not enough space on the site for car parking, a bus interchange or platform extensions, it was decided to develop a new station on the site of the goods yard.
