Stuart Taylor Jr. is a Nonresident Senior Fellow in Governance Studies at the
Brookings Institute as well as a regular columnist for "National Journal " and a Contributing Editor at "Newsweek ". He is a graduate ofPrinceton University andHarvard Law School .Taylor has previously served as a Senior writer for
American Lawyer Media , from 1989-1997, a lecturer atPrinceton University for one year, a reporter and Supreme Court correspondent for "The New York Times ", an attorney at the D.C. law firm of Wilmer, Cutler and Pickering, and as a legal reporter for various newspapers.He is the co-author, with Professor
K.C. Johnson ofBrooklyn College , of "Until Proven Innocent: Political Correctness and the Shameful Injustice of the Duke Lacrosse Case" (ISBN 0-312-36912-3). It was published in September 2007.Mr. Taylor wrote a July 2008
