Hurricane Mesa Test Facility is owned and operated by Aircraft Interior Products Propulsion Systems. It is the United States's only privately-owned supersonic test track. The test facility is located north of Highway 9 between La Verkin, Utah and Zions National Park.
The facility has several features visible from Highway 9: Two chess-pawn shaped water/camera towers spaced about a mile apart and a trailer projecting about 10 feet over the edge of the south face of the mesaFact|date=July 2008.
