Born in Leeds UK the only son of Kenneth Webster and Beatrice Maud Webster. Grandfather John (Jack) Managing Director of established Yorkshire Plumbing Company H Webster and Sons. On leaving school joined . Entered commerce and spent many years in the Middle East. Following return to UK entered University to read Law. Graduated 2.1 Honours degree and studied BVC at College of Law London. Married Melanie Anne Spice 1982 divorced 1992. 4 children, Simon 23/3/81, Christopher 05/04/82, Timothy 24/09/85 and Verity Jayne 26/04/90. Partner Frances Mary Anne Thomas 1992 to 1999, 2 children Porsche 28/07/94 and Imogen 19/02/1996.
