Lagos ian by birth, studied acting at theRose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, earning a diploma in 1965. He left Nigeria in 1970 to further his studies, attendingYale University for post-graduates studies and earning a masters degree in 1973. Over the years, he has taught at different colleges, mostly concentrating on black and African theater and literature.Works
