Cody Schnoor

American model Cody Schnoor is most notably known for his Dolce & Gabbana and Matrix Hair-products ads. He was born on April 06 1985 in Norfolk, Nebraska. Discovered at the age of 15 by Illeana Vonscott of the Ford Modeling Agency, he landed a small, regional modeling position for Matrix Hair-products (parent company for Biolage). His first billboard remained up for 4 months at the corner of 4th & Lavaca in the city of Austin, Texas. He has since become a staple model for the company and has worked with them since July 2001. In a 2003 modeling shoot for Matrix, the wardrobe was being provided by Dolce & Gabbana, who deemed potentional for their own advertising contract with him. He was signed for ads (extensively released throughout Europe) over a 5 year contract. He is known friends with American actress Holly Marie Combs (Charmed, Sins of Silence) and is often sighted with her. In 2005, he was rumored to have been involved with Shepherd Smith (an anchor for the Fox News Channel), although both parties denied the allegations. He is also well known as a supporter of gay rights, as he himself is gay. In an interview with Instinct Magazine (May 2005), he was quoted as saying:

"I myself am gay but it isn't my entire identity. Some people encompass their entire life around the fact that they are/aren't gay. For me, my sexual orientation is a trivial part of who I am and how I would describe myself."
