community radio FM station inBloomington, Indiana . It operates on the frequency of 91.3MHz, with a translator at 98.1MHz. Two new translators were added in September at 100.7MHz inNashville, IN and 106.3MHz inEllettsville, IN .WFHB is a volunteer run station. They operate with a small paid staff and over 200 volunteers. WFHB volunteers that meet the yearly hourly requirement are also considered Participating Members of Bloomington Community Radio, Inc. Participating Members have the right to one vote at the WFHB Annual Meeting. This vote entitles the member to select from a group of candidates for the WFHB Board of Directors and vote on any business brought before the membership.
Bloomington Community Radio, Incorporated was founded in 1975 by a group of individuals who saw a need for community radio in the Bloomington area. WFHB finally made it to the airwaves in 1993.
