Jordan McKnight was the primary stage name of one of the more notable black sex film performers of late-1990s.

However she is most noted for being one of the HIV infected female performers after having sex with Marc Wallice [http://www.lukeisback.com/archives/archives/updates/990124.htm] which caused the 1998 scare that almost closed down the sex film industry. After being revealed to be HIV positive in 1998, McKnight tried to continue in mostly non-sex roles but this proved undoable. She ultimately retired from the porn industry, leaving the industry about 2001. Unreleased films starring her continued to be released until 2003.
