The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Herlong is a medium security institution housing male inmates, with a satellite camp that houses minimum security male inmates in Herlong, California.

The facility is located in the high desert landscape of the Honey Lake Valley in northeastern California near the Nevada border. It lies in Lassen County, about convert|40|mi|km southeast of Susanville, CA, convert|60|mi|km northwest of Reno, NV, and convert|190|mi|km northeast of Sacramento, CA.
