Pizhma River ( _ru. Пижма) is a river in Komi Republic in Russia, an arm of the Pechora River. The length of the river is 389 km, the area of its basin is 5,470 km². The Pizhma flows out of the Yamozero. The river freezes up in late October - early November and stays icebound until late April - early May. The Pizhma is navigable within its lower reaches.
