Edison Giménez (born April 5, 1981 in Paraguay) is a Paraguayan football player, who currently plays forward for the Paraguayan club Olimpia Asunción. He previously played in his native county of Paraguay for Club 2 de Mayo before being signed by Colo-Colo of Chile for a fee of $400,000 for his services prior to the beginning of the 2007 Chilean Apertura [ [http://english.peopledaily.com.cn/200612/25/eng20061225_335615.html "Colo Colo to sign Paraguan forward Edison Gimenez"] - People's Daily Online] .
