"Sleepwalking" is the debut single from "The X Factor" series 2 contestant, Maria Lawson.

The song features a sample of the Chi-Lites hit single "Have You Seen Her".

The single charted at number 20 on the UK Singles Chart. The single was released in the same week as follow contestant Chico and charted four places higher. The single received positive criticism in the UK and was A-listed on BBC Radio 2. To date, the song has sold over 20,000 copies in the UK alone.

The single also charted at number 44 in Ireland and at number 67 in Australia. Although the Australian release was via download only.

The single was the first to be taken from the album "Maria Lawson" and the only single released from it. However, it was stated on her website that a second single was to be released entitled "Lover's Kiss", a newly recorded song not included on the album Maria Lawson. Although its release was later on cancelled. A new single entitled "Breaking Me Down" is to follow in 2008 along with her sophomore album.
