Cees Schapendonk

Cees Schapendonk (born December 24, 1955 in Den Bosch, Noord-Brabant) is a former football (soccer) striker from the Netherlands, who earned one cap for the Netherlands national football team. He did so on February 22, 1981 against Cyprus (3-0), when he scored one of the three goals for the Dutch.

Schapendonk played for FC Eindhoven, for which he scored 50 goals, including the 1.250th in the history of Dutch professional football (against Telstar. Later on he moved to MVV Maastricht (52 goals in 91 matches), AA Gent, Excelsior Rotterdam, RKC Waalwijk and NAC Breda. He played more than 550 matches in Dutch professional football.
