Madhira Subbanna Deekshitulu

Madhira Subbanna Deekshitulu (1868-1928) is the creator of the famous Kasi Majilee Kathalu, series of stories in Telugu language, known for their wit and humor.

He is a famous Telugu author whose ancestors hailed from Madhira in Khammam district. At the peak of his career, he sold the rights to his stories to a publisher in Rajahmundry.
