Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation

Created in 1933 by the amalgamation of three existing teacher organizations, the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation (STF) is the trade union representing the majority of public school teachers in Saskatchewan. According to its website, the STF is guided by the "belief that teachers want to provide the best possible educational opportunities for Saskatchewan student", and strives to promote the cause of public education, raise the status of the teaching profession and attend to the working conditions of teachers in Saskatchewan's public schools.
