Pappoos 1 is a walking trail that links North East
London toCambridge andThe Wash Stretch 1 :
London toCambridge From North East London (
Tottenham Hale station ), or as far afield as theThames (at Bow/Docklands/Hackney or ...) the trail follows thecanal up to the branch atHoddesdon , where much of the traffic turns left toWare andHertford , turning right to follow the River Stort Navigation as far asBishop's Stortford .From Bishop's Stortford variousfootpath s lead up to and follow the embryonicRiver Cam as far as Cambridge.Stretch 2 :
Cambridge toThe Wash From Cambridge the waterways followed, as the
Fen Rivers Way , are the River Cam and shortly theGreat Ouse to just below the historic city ofEly , with its historiccathedral . From here we can continue following the Fen Rivers Way down the course of the Great Ouse as far as the Wash, or alternatively we can follow minor roads to the Bedford Rivers.External links
