1971
The first six Mr. Men books, created by Roger Hargreaves, Mr. Tickle, Mr. Greedy, Mr. Happy, Mr. Nosey, Mr. Sneeze, and Mr. Bump were published. Around Christmas time, Mr. Snow was published.
1972
Mr. Messy, Mr. Topsy-Turvy, Mr. Silly, Mr. Uppity, Mr. Small, and Mr. Daydream were published. All of the first thirteen Mr. Men books were formerly known as Mister books. Later, the publication rights were given from Fabbri to Thurman Publishing.
1976
Mr. Forgetful to Mr. Strong were published.
1978
Mr. Grumpy to Mr. Slow were published.
1980s
The Mr. Men books were published in the United States by various companies.
1990s
The last four Mr. Men books, Mr. Brave, Mr. Grumble, Mr. Perfect, and Mr. Cheerful were published.
1997
The Mr. Men books were revised and re-published and in the United States.
2000s
More Mr. Men books, created by Adam Hargreaves, were published.
