"Wake Up My Love" is a single by George Harrison. It was the first single pulled from the album "Gone Troppo". The single performed better in the US charts (reaching #53) than his last single, Teardrops, but neither song charted in the UK. The song was one of Harrison's attempts to make his music sound "up to date." The heavy use of synthesizers has been criticized as sounding awkward and strange by some. Even so, the song is an upbeat, energetic song that some think should have done better in the charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
