Les Commo

Les Commo (born September 8, 1950) is a country singer and guitar player from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Commo began his music career in the 1970s with rock bands such as Manchester and Tom Thumb and the Four Fingers. In the 1980s. Commo enjoyed success in country music with Ida Red, playing alongside Asleep at the Wheel steel player Eddie Rivers. Ida Red released two LPs consisting of mostly Western Swing and traditional country songs, most notably a Western Swing rendition of Patsy Cline's "Walkin' After Midnight".

Les Commo is the only 3-time winner of the Hodag Country Festival "Best Band" contest, taking first place twice with Ida Red in 1989 and 1995, and once with Wild Wild Les and The Rhythm Rockets in 2000.

Currently, Commo is performing with the Wisconsin country band, Twang.
