Lauren Powers (born December 12, 1961) is an American actress, amateur bodybuilder, and former firefighter.

Early life and education

Powers was born in 1961 in Los Angeles, California. Firefighting career

Powers moved to Laguna Beach, where she witnessed the October 1993 fire that destroyed convert|17000|acre|km2 of the town in a single day. Moved to join the Laguna Beach Fire Department, she began weight training in order to pass the physical agility test in 1994.Entertainment career

Powers competed in amateur bodybuilding contests from 2001 until 2003.
