The Fury won the final CSL championship, defeating the
Vancouver 86ers in goals aggregrate 3-1 in the two game series in 1992 season.Post CSL year
The Fury went on to join the former Canadian National Soccer League, but only for the 1993 season. Since their demise, Winnipeg has not had a professional soccer team; although the current Caandian Soccer League (no direct connection) seeks a western division which would include a Winnipeg entry to begin play in 2010.
